Kids celebrate the autumn season with colorful trees they make themselves!

This activity is appropriate for:
preschool-kindergarten / 3-5 years

Prepare for this activity in advance by cutting 1" squares out of orange, red, and yellow tissue paper.
Paint each child’s palm and lower arm with washable brown paint. Then, have each child press his hand and arm onto a sheet of yellow construction paper (this will be the tree).
Encourage children to decorate their trees with colorful leaves made of the crumpled tissue paper squares.
